Dow Schofield Watts (“DSW”), the specialist professional advisory and equity finance firm based in Cheshire and Leeds, has expanded its Cheshire office with the appointment of Callum Sellar as a Corporate Finance Executive.

He will support DSW’s corporate finance team in the delivery of a full range of advisory service to clients across the North.

Callum, joins Dow Schofield Watts after five years with KPMG where he qualified as a chartered accountant.

Callum said: “This is a superb business for me to join.  I am keen to develop a corporate finance career and DSW provides me with a unique opportunity to work closely with probably the most experienced team in the North of England. DSW has a formidable reputation, this was an opportunity that doesn’t come along for many people.”

After gaining a BA 1st Class in Finance, Accounting & Management at Nottingham University, Callum then undertook his ACA qualification with KPMG. Whilst at KMPG, Callum gained both audit and restructuring experience, working on listed and private companies across a variety of industries including Software, Catering, Retail, Marine Services and Aerospace.

Callum’s recruitment is the latest in a series of specialist appointments for the Dow Schofield Watts Group across both the North West and Yorkshire regions, expanding its Corporate Finance, VAT Services, Business Recovery and Forensic accounting teams.
