Building Automation Solutions (BAS), the Altrincham-based building management systems company bought out from Siemens in 2006, has secured a £5m funding package from the Manchester office of Yorkshire Bank.
BAS, installs and maintains building management systems, which control services such as heating, security, access, audio-visual systems, ventilation and filtration.
Its customers include Asda, Total Fitness, DHL and Westland Helicopters as well as facilities management companies, and public sector bodies.
The company has offices in Birmingham, Gateshead, Leeds, Egham in Surrey, Glasgow and Chepstow.
Yorkshire Bank directors Peter Smith and Ian Hardman from the Corporate & Structured Finance team in Manchester worked on the transaction.
Mark Watts and Dave Graham from Dow Schofield Watts LLP and Dean Gormley and Rebecca Grisewood from law firm Halliwells LLP advised BAS.
