Services are provided on the following bases:
Early Case Assessment
We provide a cost effective service to consider the potential merits of a case, giving consideration to both the issues in dispute and quantum; this can be utilised during initial appraisal of the matter, in preparing the letter of claim, without prejudice discussions, settlement negotiations or to review counterparty submissions.
These services allow an instructing solicitor or barrister to understand fully the strength of their client’s position, potential loss situations and, hence, to plan persuasive arguments or counter proposals from a position of enhanced knowledge.
Expert Witness
We act as single or jointly appointed expert or ‘shadow’ expert, as required. Our senior partners are some of the most highly qualified within our profession, have experience of making submissions to and appearing before the court or tribunal, and provide robust evidence when cross examined.
Reporting is commercially focused and based around supportable evidence rather than opinion; it is clear, concise and, most importantly, easily understood by non-financial experts.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
We have experience of mediation and arbitration, working with parties in dispute to understand fully the commercial realities of the situation with the intention of bringing the parties together to reach a mutually acceptable position.
