Dow Schofield Watts has appointed Mughees Saleem as an executive within its growing transaction services team.
Mughees joins from professional services firm EY, where he worked within the audit department over a period spanning five years. Having gained a scholarship with EY, he initially worked on placement while completing his degree in Accounting, Auditing and Finance at Lancaster University. Following his graduation in 2014, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the firm and was promoted to Audit Senior.
His experience has given him exposure to a large pool of clients in the UK and Europe, in sectors including IT, manufacturing and media and with turnovers ranging from £10m to £180m. At Dow Schofield Watts, he will be helping to provide financial due diligence to clients including corporates, private equity investors and other finance providers.
