Dow Schofield Watts has been shortlisted in two categories in this year’s Yorkshire Insider Dealmakers Awards.
The firm is once again in the running for the Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year, which it won last year. Meanwhile it has been nominated for Deal of the Year (sub £25m) for its role in the sale of The Bridge, the Leeds IT recruitment specialist, by engineering design and project management company Morson Group. The firm also acted as independent financial adviser to a significant but minority shareholder in the £152m sale of Heron Foods, the Yorkshire-based frozen foods chain, to B&M Bargains.
The Yorkshire & North East office of Dow Schofield Watts has acted on 18 deals in the region with a total value of £460m during the past 12 months, including the buy-outs of Park Leisure 2000 and Provide Education and the cross border trade sale of Elddis Caravans to the Erwin Hymer Group.
The winners will be announced at the deals dinner at The Royal Armouries, Leeds, on 23 November 2017.
