Dow Schofield Watts is in the running to retain its accolades as Mid-Market Team of the Year and the Transaction Services Team of the Year at this year’s Insider North West Dealmakers Awards.

The firm has once again been shortlisted in both categories which it won last year. Meanwhile deals in which DSW, and its private equity arm PHD Equity Partners, were involved are in the running for a further nine awards.

The acquisition of Centrica’s building energy management operations by Building Energy Services Group, and the MBO of Clubhouse Golf have been nominated for Deal of the Year (sub £10m), along with the acquisition of Olympic Fixing Group by PHD Equity Partners and the acquisition of ArtGallery by Teaching Art, which is backed by PHD.

The Olympic Fixing Group deal was also shortlisted for the Asset-Based Lending Deal of the Year, with additional funding having been provided by Secure Trust Bank.

The winners will be announced at the deals dinner at Manchester Central on Thursday 26 October.
