Corporate finance advisers Dow Schofield Watts have recruited Keith Benson and Gavin Jones to its head office in Warrington. Keith has moved from KPMG’s Preston office while Gavin has joined from the Manchester office of Ernst & Young.

Edward Kitchen, 44, has joined the family law team at Manchester firm Russell Jones & Walker as a senior solicitor from city centre practice Pannone while Helen Maguire has moved from Lancashire firm Dickson Haslam. RJW’s Islamic services team has been strengthened by the arrival of Kaleel Anwar from Middletons Solicitors, Liverpool. He will split his time between Manchester and London.

Boutique Manchester legal firm Gunnercooke has bolstered its team with a double swoop from a rival practice. Corporate finance specialists Greg Sher and Nick Ducker have joined as partners from SNG Commercial Law.

Law firm Salehs, based in Didsbury, Manchester, have strengthened its commercial property team with the arrival of Mark Niven as a partner. He previously worked at Eversheds, Brabners Chaffe Street and Taylors.

Management due diligence specialist The Quinn Partnership, based in Altrincham, has recruited Mary Henderson as head of client services. She will be responsible for data management, marketing, planning and new assignments.

Stephen Hadlow has joined Manchester law firm Turner Parkinson’s corporate team as a partner. He has moved from city centre rival JMW, where he was a partner for three years.

Construction specialist Catherine Kay has been promoted to partner at Manchester firm George Davies Solicitors. She is dual qualified in England and Wales and New South Wales, having worked in Sydney before joining George Davies in 2003. Meanwhile George Davies has recruited David Poots as a corporate solicitor from city centre practice Linder Myers.

Sean Caldwell is joining the commercial services team at the Manchester law firm DAC Beachcroft from Hempsons.
