Alex joined Dow Schofield Watts in July 2026, founding DSW’s Transaction Services in Southampton.
He advises private equity investors, corporates, business owners, and management teams on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. His approach is deliberately senior-led, hands-on and commercially focused: combining rigorous financial analysis with clear conclusions, responsive communication and a willingness to give a view.
Before joining Dow Schofield Watts, Alex spent almost 18 years at RSM UK, including more than five years as a Transaction Services Partner.
He has particular expertise in the trade shows, events and media sectors, having advised on more than 50 successful transactions with an aggregate deal value exceeding £850 million. Alongside this specialist experience, Alex has worked extensively across a broad range of other sectors and remain sector-agnostic in my wider approach.
Based in Southampton, Alex is passionate about supporting the South Coast dealmaking community while continuing to work with clients nationally and internationally.
