DSW Transaction Services advised Birmingham-based communications and telephony specialist Wavenet on its acquisition of its long-standing partner APR Telecoms,
APR, based in Norfolk, provides business solutions including telephony, data, VoIP and cloud.
The acquisition, which follows those of another Norfolk-based Swains and Manchester-based Talk Internet in 2017, further develops Wavenet’s position in the UK market and brings many qualified engineers to enhance Wavenet’s existing technical support options.
DSW Transaction Services has provided due diligence on all three deals.
Bill Dawson, CEO of Wavenet commented: “I am thrilled to have APR Telecoms joining us and look forward to building on the strengths offered by their business and earlier acquisitions. We pride ourselves on providing services that make businesses brilliant so it’s great that we can bring our passion and market-leading solutions to more customers.”
Ed Brentnall, who led the DSW Transaction Services team, said: “We are delighted to have assisted Wavenet on this latest transaction which, along with Talk Internet and Swains, has further broadened the business’s coverage and offering. Congratulations to both Wavenet and Beech Tree.”
Wavenet is a leading UK provider of business voice, data, security and cloud solutions and was recently subject of an investment of over £30m by Beech Tree Private Equity.
