Matt joined Dow Schofield Watts Debt Advisory as a Director in 2022.
Prior to this, he was in the acquisition finance team at Virgin Money (previously CYBG) in Manchester, working on private equity-backed debt financings. Matt started his career in banking regulation at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
He has over ten years’ experience in corporate banking, having worked in the structured finance and large corporate markets at both RBS and HSBC before joining Virgin Money. Matt holds the LPC and graduated with an LLM in International Law from UCL.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and, when time allows, watching rugby, and travelling.
