Dow Schofield Watts celebrates young talent with triple promotion
The transaction services team at Dow Schofield Watts has announced a triple promotion, highlighting its dedication to nurturing young talent within the business.
Declan Littler, an ACA chartered accountant who joined the transaction services team in the North West as an executive in 2023, has been promoted to manager. He previously held positions at Bank of America and PwC.
Peter Sexton, who joined the transaction services team in London as an executive in 2023, has also been promoted to assistant manager. After achieving a first-class Accounting and Finance degree at the University of Birmingham, Peter worked at Deloitte before joining Dow Schofield Watts.
Also joining Declan and Peter in being promoted is Madeleine Andrews, who has been promoted from analyst to senior analyst. Based alongside Declan in the transaction services team in the North West, Madeleine has secured consistently high grades in both her AAT and her ACA examinations.
Catriona Lang, partner in the transaction services team at Dow Schofield Watts in the North West, said: “Overseeing the development of intelligent and ambitious individuals is one of the most rewarding elements of my job. Declan and Madeleine in the North West and Peter in London are three extremely talented and valued team members, each of whom thoroughly deserves their promotion. As a business which has built our reputation on the quality of our work and the value we add to our clients, the calibre of our team is fundamental, and the promotion of these young team members, albeit all at different stages of their careers, reflects the trust we have in their abilities. Congratulations to the three of them from the partnership teams in the North West and London!”
Also commenting on the promotions, Shru Morris, CEO designate at Dow Schofield Watts, added: “We pride ourselves on welcoming driven and ambitious people into our business. With the traditional advisory model becoming increasingly outdated, we’re constantly looking for people ready to break away from it, and that’s exactly what Declan, Pete and Madeleine have done. We wish them the best in their new roles.”
