We are deeply committed to improving and monitoring our environmental, social, and governance across the group.

Our ESG iniatives are driven by our people. We work with our stakeholders to continuously strive for improvement. Our primary objective is to empower our people to reach their potential, and develop sustainable businesses which best serve the needs of their clients and local communities.

Our approach involves the integration of ESG into our business operations and is implemented via a committee, led by Pete Fendall, and formed of people from across the group. This structure ensures ESG programs are accessible to the entire workforce, and allows for regional and national oversight.

Our ESG framework is built on four cornerstones, developed using guidance published by QCA and benchmarked against the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) recommendations.

We believe that by embedding ESG practices into our culture and operations, we not only enhance our business performance but also contribute to the broader social and environmental goals. We recognise that ESG is an ever-evolving field and are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices.

Our ESG cornerstones

Social & environmental

We aim to make a positive, long-term impact on our local communities whilst minimising our impact on the environment.

Diversity & inclusion

We aim to create a diverse and inclusive environment for our people, recognising the benefits a broad range of perspectives can bring to the progression and success of the business.

Empowering our people

We aim to empower our people to be the best that they can be and build successful and sustainable businesses.

Responsible business practices

We aim to promote a culture based on ethical values and behaviours that align with our stakeholders.

Sponsors of the World’s Toughest Row

Our sponsorship has gifted the team with an oar to use on their  3,000 mile unaided row.

The journey will see the team of four travel from San Sebastian in the Canary Islands to Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua & Barbuda. We wish Andrea, Nicky, Heather and Fiona the best of luck as they battle with sleep deprivation, salt sores, and physical extremes inflicted by the race!
