North West Corporate Finance team celebrates significant year with senior promotions

We are pleased to announce three senior promotions following a year of significant deal activity.

The corporate finance team has increased its fee income by 209% over the last 12 months, with an average deal size of £60m.

As part of the latest round of promotions, Ross Thomas has moved into a director position where he will continue his significant role in transactions across a range of sectors including environmental services, B2B business services and financial services. Ross has acted on a number of significant deals in the last year, including three buy-side acquisitions for APEM Group, the sale of ARMA Connect to Normec and the sale of Ruth Lee to Protect Medical.

In his new role as associate director, Alex Odlin will continue to advise private clients across the North West. Alex has worked on a number of notable recent deals including advising the shareholders of Jones on the sale of the business to United Living.

Finally, Jack Keoghan was promoted to manager, having joined from Deloitte in January 2024. Jack was a part of the deal team that recently advised the shareholders of Raintite on the sale of the business to Bergman & Beving.

On the promotions, Gregg Pendlington, partner at Dow Schofield Watts, commented, “This round of promotions is testament to the brilliant work these three individuals have delivered over recent years. We’re extremely proud of the progress the team has made, not only in terms of growth, but in the quality of work and the results achieved. For a team of our size to deliver such impressive outcomes is no small feat, and Ross, Alex, and Jack have each played a significant part in that success. We’re looking forward to seeing them thrive in their new roles”.
