Gavin leads Dow Schofield Watts Debt Advisory in London and the South East, joining in 2021.
Having built and led a Financial Services-focused banking team at Santander, Gavin left banking in early 2020 to establish himself as a Debt Advisor. Since then, he has worked with SME and Mid-market management teams and investors, supporting in the assessment and raising of debt for M&A, growth and refinancing.
Prior to Santander, he structured and transacted leveraged finance deals across a wide range of sectors as part of the Barclays Debt Finance team.
In addition to extensive banking expertise, Gavin initially trained with PwC in Edinburgh and London before spending the Financial Crisis working in a debt restructuring role in the Capital Markets division of Allied Irish Banks.
