Beech Tree Private Equity invests in Fourteen IP
Fourteen IP, a cloud telephony and AI solutions business based in the North West and Florida, USA, has received investment from Beech Tree Private Equity.
Dow Schofield Watts has again provided financial due diligence support to Beech Tree Private Equity only a few months after assisting their invested company Arc Systems, with their third acquisition (Perspicuity Ltd), which was completed in February.
The Dow Schofield Watts team from our transaction services in the North West comprised Ed Brentall, Rob Parker, and Madeleine Andrews.
Fourteen IP serves hotels worldwide with technology such as cloud-based phones and is already close to making bolt-on acquisitions as part of an ambitious buy-and-build strategy. The investment will position Fourteen IP for expansion into new geographic regions, notably Asia and Australia, and entry into additional market sectors.
James Rosthorn, Investment Director at Beech Tree, who is set to join the Fourteen IP board following the completion of the deal, said: “It has been a pleasure to build a strong relationship with Neil and his team over the past few years. We have closely tracked Fourteen IP’s progress, and investing on their 14th anniversary feels particularly fitting. Our search for complementary acquisitions is already underway, and we anticipate announcing further transactions as we accelerate the M&A strategy”.
