Dow Schofield Watts partners with Financa to Deliver Specialist M&A Training Programme

DSW Capital has partnered with Financa to deliver a tailored middle-market M&A training programme to teams across the DSW network, reinforcing the group’s ongoing investment in learning, development and deal expertise for its licensees.

The partnership will see Financa deliver a bespoke package of interactive training content, designed to enhance technical capability, commercial insight and practical deal execution skills across the DSW corporate finance community. Wider non-corporate finance teams have also signed up to join the programme to improve their knowledge of the area. Participation in the programme will contribute towards relevant ICAEW Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.

The programme will combine live workshops, practical case studies and collaborative learning sessions, supporting advisers working with entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses across the mid-market.

Shru Morris, CEO of DSW Capital, said, “At Dow Schofield Watts, we are committed to investing in the development of the people within our businesses and ensuring our licensees have access to the very best training and support available. Partnering with Financa allows us to further strengthen the expertise across our corporate finance teams through a practical, engaging and highly relevant M&A training programme that reflects the needs of today’s market. With other teams joining the programme too, their additional knowledge and understanding will also continue to encourage cross-team working and referrals, which is part of what makes our model so unique.”

James Wolfe, Managing Director of Financa, added, “Financa is delighted to be appointed as DSW’s M&A learning partner. We are already collaborating with DSW Leadership and the wider network to deploy the Financa Platform, and we look forward to delivering high‑impact technical training that strengthens talent development and accelerates the progression of DSW’s advisers.”

The initiative forms part of Dow Schofield Watts’ broader strategy to support growth throughout the group by removing the burden of admin, infrastructure and support services and equipping teams with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.

Through the partnership, DSW and Financa aim to create a dynamic learning environment that supports both experienced advisers and the next generation of corporate finance professionals while also supporting ongoing professional accreditation and development standards.
