Gerard joined Dow Schofield Watts Corporate Finance in the North West in 2016 as partner.
Prior to this, he spent 13 years as a Corporate Finance Director at RSM and 3 years as a Finance Director at Sheard Packaging, delivering an investment and growth strategy.
Gerard has strong cross-border experience and specialises in providing strategic commercial advice and deal structuring to entrepreneurs and growing businesses, offering a perspective from both industry and practice.
Recent transaction experience includes the sale of packaging machinery specialist Proseal to US-listed JBT Corporation for £220m, the sale of premium bicycle retailer Leisure Lakes Bikes to JD Group, and the sale of Architectural Steel Limited to Arcelor Mittal Construction.
