Shenal is a leading expert in R&D Tax Relief and has played a crucial role in securing R&D Tax Relief and other tax incentives for SMEs and Large Corporate clients across diverse sectors, including life sciences, IT, and manufacturing.
He has a technical, hands-on R&D background in chemical and process engineering, working for brands such as Reckitt Benckiser and Heinz before his move to the professional services sector.
Prior to joining DSW, Shenal was R&D Director at Signature Tax, where he secured successful claims for numerous companies. He not only holds extensive expertise in R&D tax relief but also excels in supporting clients through other innovation incentives such as Patent Box and Land Remediation Relief. His ability to maximise tax relief for his clients with a key focus and commitment to compliance and auditability is grounded in a comprehensive understanding of industry specifics and HMRC requirements.
