Absolute Financial Group acquires Platinum Independent Financial Services

Dow Schofield Watts provided financial due diligence advice to Absolute Financial Group on the acquisition of Platinum Independent Financial Services. This marks the seventh acquisition that DSW has assisted Absolute with during 2026.

The Dow Schofield Watts team was led by Catriona Lang, Sam Hinton, and Madeleine Andrews.

Platinum Independent Financial Services will retain its existing office in Sale, and all 15 employees will remain with the business. The firm will continue to operate under the Platinum brand during a transitional period while clients are integrated into the wider Absolute group. The acquisition further strengthens Absolute’s North West hub and supports the group’s continued national expansion strategy.

The transaction represents Absolute’s fifteenth acquisition since the business was established and demonstrates the group’s ongoing commitment to bringing high-quality independent advice firms into a larger national platform while preserving local client relationships and advisory expertise.
