Dow Schofield Watts supports Kisaco Research on its sale to Forge

Dow Schofield Watts has provided vendor financial due diligence to Kisaco Research in connection with its acquisition by US-based Forge, a leading global B2B events and media group.

The deal was supported by DSW’s newly established Solent Transaction Services practice, led by Partner Alex Milne, and marks the team’s first completed transaction since launching this summer.

London-based Kisaco Research operates a portfolio of 14 specialist events and communities across high-growth technology, healthcare, wellness and legal markets. Its flagship AI Infra Summit attracted more than 6,500 attendees and 260 sponsors in 2026, with other events including AI Drug Discovery, Medical Cost Containment, Beauty Connect and the Medspa series.

The acquisition combines Kisaco Research’s expertise in developing specialist events in high-growth markets with Forge’s international reach across live events, digital platforms, content and data. It is Forge’s second acquisition since its formation in July 2026, following Apollo-managed funds’ combination of Emerald and Questex.

Alex Milne, Partner at DSW, commented, “This was a fantastic transaction to be involved in and a particularly fitting first deal for our new Solent practice.

Having spent much of my career advising businesses in the events and media sector, it was great to combine that sector experience with DSW’s cross-border capabilities

One of the attractions of joining Dow Schofield Watts was the opportunity to develop a new practice within an established network of experienced advisers, and it’s been a great start.

A huge thank you to Sarah, Kathryn, and the wider Kisaco team for trusting us. It was a real pleasure working with everyone involved, and I wish both Kisaco and Forge every success with the next chapter.”
